Book Review: Thirteen Curses by Michelle Harrison

Plot: When fairies stole her brother, Red vowed to get him back. Now trapped in the fairy realm, she begs an audience with the fairy court where she strikes a bargain. Her brother will be returned - but only if she can complete a task set by the court. In a world of trickery and deception, Red is about to find that not all is as it seems. For even if she succeeds, will the fairies keep their promise?
The Thirteen Curses (Thirteen Treasures, #2)Review: This book was, in my opinion, better than its predessesor Thirteen Treasures because there was more of a set purpose, a task - to find the thirteen charms on Tanya's bracelet before they turn into thirteen curses.
For Rowan (or 'Red') this book was a journey of self-discovery, with Rowan finding out secrets about her past and her family.
I think this book is a good read, by a UK author who is good at her job.
3.75 stars :)
Happy reading,
